How do I get a job in the United Kingdom?

i am currently living in america (the U.S.A) and think it would be nice to live and work in the UK for a year-just to see if i like it there and everything. that's where my ancestors came from just 5- generations back, in the 1800s. because id be living there for around a year, i would need a job. how would i get one? also, wat sort of visas would i need and where and how would i get those?

but anyway back to the question lol when you get here you just have to look around in shops and wherever you want to work for job vacancies or online etc, also when you apply for a working visa sometimes you can get pre arranged job for you when you come over here =] good luck anyway
