  1. you can go to any cruise liners website and click on careers.  The hours are long and the pay isnt the best. my sister in law was a hair stylist on the princess cruiseliner and she liked it,  you get to meet so many people and she had a blast.  but you work usually everyday. when the boat is docked it depends on what you do on the boat but they sometimes let you off while the boat is at port.   so you get to see a little bit too. the front desk is called the pursers desk.  i would think they would want good people skills and speaking another language would help too.   good luck.

  2. Also, be advised that you will probably need to be able to speak at least two different languages fluently.  And you do not make a whole lot of money.  You may work 12 hours for 15-20 dollars in tips.

  3. If you have not ever been on a cruise you may want to know they usually sign up for at least 6 months some longer, work 12 hour shifts, 7 days aweek and share a room with someone you do not know. I would suggest you look up the different cruise lines and look over the employment section to see what questions they ask. If there is a space I would just write a cover letter telling them why you want to work on a ship and the areas that you are interested in. Good Luck.

  4. even if you found the right job, there are lots of requirements:

    seminars

    training certificates
