  1. Call you local Secretary of State or Dept of motor vehicles. In MI it's $75 for a permanent plate.

  2. just go to your local revenue office with the bill of sale, unless it is a homemade trailer, and the vin# and they will probably give you permanent tags for it. If its homemade, just tell them and they will probably assign you an identification number.

  3. Call the DMV, they will tell you what you need to do.

  4. Just call the DMV and ask them what you need.  Some states you have to go to the State Troopers Department. Just call the DMV they will let you know what you need to do in your state.  Love honey

  5. You get a licence plate for a trialer the same as you get a plate for your car. And your car insurance company that cover your car may cover the trialer as well when it is hooked to your vehicler. You hap to check with them. If it does you have your insurance. Get something from the insurance company that state this. Then you take the paper work on the trialer. That has the ID number on it. You can call the DMV. They will tell you what you need to get a licence plate. Cause each state has their own laws.
