How do I get a license to sell insurance in california? Can someone please tell me step by step?

Most areas will require that you take courses and then write a licensing exam.  You might need an insurance company to sponsor you.  I am not from California so I don't know about that for sure - but here is where you'll find everything...

Go to the link in the previous Answer for the State of California and you'll find out all about how to get licensed here.  You go to 5 all day classes and take an exam to get a Property/Casualty agents/brokers license.
