How do I get a lot of YouTube video views?

Question

I want to become a YouTube partner. But there's only 1 problem. I don't have thousands of views. Please help.

One way is to comment on tons of people's videos and make friends on youtube. Most of the time people are pretty good sports, you watch their videos, they watch yours. It may not be super quick, but it certainly works.

make a funny video! one thats just out there. or making fun of somebody that a lot of people would want to see...im a teenager and thats want id want to see!

Hey there....you can register for any yahoo group (related with videos) and then email your video links to all the members of the group....

Make sure you tag your videos good! There is also a site called TubeMogul where you can upload your videos to multiple sites at once! I hope this information helps! Good Luck! ;)

The secret of getting thousands of views is to "make a good video"! That's it! MAKE A GOOD VIDEO!

If you want to get the best results with youtube, use relevant tags. Putting spam p**n tags on a halo3 video isn't going to help you get viewers who are looking for your video. I would use tags like halo, halo3, secret, easter egg, halo commercial, video game, etc.

I would suggest starting a blog and including your videos as blog posts whenever you create them. Put a description of the video in the blog post as well. Also use Twitter, Digg, and other social media to link either to your blog post, or to the videos themselves on youtube.

Relevant tags make your videos more useful to youtube. Irrelevant tags are spam.

Post a video comment on other people's videos if you think you have similar vids.

also, respond to youtubers that comment your vid in a way that you can continue a conversation. This keeps interest in your film after they have watched it.

respond to any questions they have may have about your vid.

try not to flame your commenters. if they are shooting flames out of their *** because they dont like your vid, just give them a thumbs down or mark their post as spam. This will lessen the heat on your vid and keep it a little friendly.
