Question:

How do I get a new Qwest cell phone before my contract is up?

So, my dad pays my cell bill because he, my mom and I are on a family plan.

The company is called Qwest--I think it's a Northwest phone company.

Anyway, I want a new cell phone--I have my mom's old one--but my current contract isn't up. Basically, I just want a new phone. Can I just call them (or have my dad call them) and simply ask for a new phone, and pay for one?

Or do I need to wait for my contract to end? Or what...?

Sorry if I sound like an ***, but like I said, my dad pays my bill, so I've never dealt with a phone contract. And my dad's useless, lol--he all he does is pays the bill without knowing the details.

Thanks!

  1. I work for Qwest-

Qwest is currently removing their wireless services and are offering our customers to Migrate to Verizon Wireless. All Qwest phones are out of stock, so if you want a new phone they will send you to the Migration Team within Qwest and inform you that to recieve a new handset you will have to sign up with Verizon.

If you have any Questions just call Qwest at 800-496-0663 or 800-244-1111 and ask for the Wireless Group
