My boyfriend and I are planning an Alaskan cruise this June. I have tried looking online to book a one-way cruise from Seattle, Wa to Whittier, Ak. Everything is geared towards a round trip via the cruise ship. How do I look up one-way cruises?

  1. First of all Carnival is not a bad cruise line. I enjoy them alot.

Most Alaskan Cruises from Seattle are roundtrip.  However, if you leave from Vancuver, Canada (not very far from Seattle) you can get a one way trip.  The best cruise lines that offer these are Royal Caribbean, Princess, and I believe Holland America.  It just depends on your price range and what type of ship you would like to sail on.  You can get special pricing on alot of these cruises as well.  If you book a Balcony stateroom on Princess they offer luxury breakfasts with champaigne outside on your veranda. They also have Alaska guides onboard to tell you about everything and answer any of your questions. Royal Caribbean's Radience of the Seas offers plenty of views with glass elevators looking outside the ship.  With the Carnival Spirit you will cruise on a "fun ship" with all the fun and activities as well as the Carnival Comfort Bed.  I really think all of these lines would be a nice choice.   Even though I love Carnival, I would probably take the Royal Caribbean or Princess Cruise for Alaska.  On all lines, you can also add land tours to take you to Denali National Park, Banff National Park in Canada, and other various locations.  Hope this helped and have a wonderful time on your cruise.  If you need any more advice or help feel free to send me an email and I will be glad to help.

  2. Stay away from CARNIVAL they SUCK. They could cheat you out of your money.

They also do not stand by what they promise, and there is no CUSTOMER SERVICE at all.

    CARNIVAL SUCKS

  3. Actually, the majority of Alaska cruises are one-way and thus more expensive [due to airfare to/from different cities].  You should try looking up Alaska cruises again.  VacationsToGo.com is a good site; also Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc.

BTW, if you want to go this June, you need to act fast.  Alaska cruises book up fast due the short season.

  4. Call either the cruise line or a travel agent and ask.

  5. Check vacationstogo.com. Click on find a bargain and put in the port you want to depart from. And Alaska as the area you want to visit.
