How do I get a sim to work in a community lot that I made (Sims 2)???

Question

I have built a restaurant on sims 2 and have created a sim. I would like to know how to get that sim to work in the restaurant. Help Please!!!

I have these expansions

Open For Business

University

H&M Fashion Stuff

Pets

Nightlife

Celebration Stuff

Seasons

If the owner of the restaurant and your Sim are good friends you can select the owner and then click on your Sim and choose 'hire'. If they aren't good friends then your Sim will probably refuse the job offer. Build up their relationship and you should be fine.

Otherwise make your sim or one of his family the owner of the restaurant then he can certainly work there. If you have another owner he will have to sell it first before your Sim can buy it, of course. All options to buy and sell businesses are available on the phone.

you need to click your mouse on that item and there should be an available option saying who should work in that area.
