I was posting on a post board and there is an abusive staff that harrasses. I have logs of what he does and he bans me for no reason really.

I don't like harrassment and It needs to stop and because he owns a site he can get away with it?

  1. If you do not like the site - don't go there.

If you are on somebody else's site you have to play by their rules.  That is just the way life is.

  2. Re-route through a proxy server and harass him back.

  3. Let's step back and think about this:

    1) You would like to post on a board without being bothered.

    2) The board's moderator doesn't like you, for whatever reason.

    3) It is, I'm assuming, not a state/govt-run message board.

Legal issues and the internet are still developing, there aren't hard and fast rules. If someone's sending you obnoxious emails, or texts, sure, you can get them to stop. But if your issue is that whenever you voluntarily GO to a site, someone bans you---well, you're out of luck.

Grow up---not everyone has to like you, and you are not welcome everywhere. Start thinking of message boards as a board meeting of a company---you may be allowed to sit in and participate, but if you do something the higher-ups don't like, you will be removed. There are a hundred billion places on the web to chat with strangers, go find a different one. If it's truly awful, I'm sure others will come with you. If they won't, take a long hard look at yourself.

  4. It is his site. Go and find somewhere else to play.
