Question:

How do I get a smoother ride on my 2003 Buick Le Sabre?

Recently purchased a 2003 Buick Le Sabre Limited with 56,000 miles. There is a slight vibration at higher speeds. Dealer replaced the tires and that didn't help. Had tires rebalanced by my mechanic and that didn't help. Tires are Japanese and I suspect cheaper tires. Could that be the problem. Mechanic did check the ball joints and didn't find a problem there. How do I resolve my problem? Anyone out there who can help??? Thank you.

  1. -Allignment

    -shocks/struts

    -could be the cheap tires

-talk to dealer and explain to them they sold you a less than perfect car

  2. it could also be a bent rim

  3. You probably need new stabilizer bushings along with newer shocks or struts. If you replace the shocks and struts make sure they are the gas ones. They last longer and give you a better ride. The tires should be radials and inflated to specs for the best ride possible.

  4. Touring tires offer a smoother ride.

  5. get yourself a good set of tires. i know on my oldsmobile when i bought it, the tires on it i had to drive around about 1/2 day to get them warmed up so they would ride good.
