  1. You would need to get a job offer from a US employer and then apply for a visa, which are not easy to come by.  Also, I do not know if physician assistant degree would enable you to get a work visa in the US.

  2. get an F-1 visa (international student visa) and an I-20 from the schools you want to study.  i am not sure whether you have a bachelors degree or not..a lot of physician assistant schools are now masters degreee.  so months before you graduate from physician assistant school( lets say in january of the year you're going to graduate), sign up for the OPT, (Optional practical training) which is a work permit that enables you to work one year in the u.s.  Your international student advisor (the place where you get the I-20) should inform you (or you find out) about the OPT in a workshop. It is your responsibility to  find out when the workshops are held and attend them. you sign this OPT application through your school through that workshop. the school will send this application to immigration and about 2-3 months later, you will get the OPT card that is valid for a year.   then after you graduate and pass your national physician assistant certification test, find an  employer (clinic, hospital).   if they like you, ask them to help you apply for the H1b visa (a non-immigration visa that enables you to work 3 years and renew another 3).  Immigration accepts the applciation every 1st day of april of every year.  so before your OPT expires, ask your employer to apply for the H1B visa.  let me warn you that the H1B visa is competitive, as the gov puts a quota every year. how they chose names is by lottery system.

when you get to that h1b visa stage, just research more about it then, b/c right now its more about getting into a physician assistant program (which is getting more difficult to get in).

    good luck!
