Well I'm homeschooled through the homeschooling program "K12". And I just got hired for a job. And I called my homeschooling program to see if they could send me a work permit application, but they told me that they don't have work permits. So I was wondering if anybody knows how I would get one? Thank you .

  1. Since you are a public school student, then you would get a work permit the same place other public school students get them.  Try your state dept. of labor.

  2. I'm home schooled too and got hired for a job. i had to go to my local high school to get my permit. just ask someone in the offic to help you

  3. In our state the work permits are downloadable from dept of labor web site.  I would think that your parents are your 'teachers and principal' even though you do an online program and should be able to sign a work permit for you.

Check your state's dept of labor web page
