How do I get an HD picture out of my Samsung LN-T4661F Television without using the HDMI?

My Tivo nor my cable box has an HDMI output. Any help is appriciated.

well most likely if you have hd from a provider all dish has hdmi but comcast is not they have componet and dvi.  dvi is the same quality but  seperated  the video from the audio so you would have to get a dvi to hdmi cable and run it from your tv to your box and run a stereo input using composite cables or if you have a surround system using coxial or optical use that but most likely you will have coxial from the box.

so if you dont want to go through the hassle just get a set of componet cables like this. and run it from your box to your tv. but if your tivo does not have hdmi it isnt hd and there is a tivo you can get that u can get to use as your cable box and use that and run hdmi from that to your tv.

You can still get HD without HDMI. It's easier to use HDMI, but not required. You say you're hooked up using RCA. What do you mean? Are you talking about the red and white for stereo and the yellow for video? If so that is not HD. You can get HD by using the red, green and blue RCA cables (component), then the red and white for stereo sound. You cannot get HD from the single yellow RCA (composite) or the S-video cable.

If your cable box has the component jacks but your Tivo doesn't, then you'll have to use them separately if you want the HD. In other words, watch HD off cable box, but record and watch non HD from Tivo on a different input.

If you have cable, you can just plug your cable into your HDTV and receive a few HD Channels, But if you want a full selection of HD channels you will need to get a HD Set Top Box from your cable or satellite provider.
