How do I get an oil stain out?

I was eating pasta in the den and I spilled some olive oil on the couch. Now there's a stain. What can I use to get it out before my mom sees it?

Try Dawn dishwashing liquid. Or try putting some baking soda on there to absorb the oil and then just brush off with a clean dry rag.
