The fastest way it to set up a sling box at someones home in the area.

The other option is a bit shady and probably illegal as the cooks in the nearest outback steakhouse or walmart closest to you. If you subscribe to satelite cable provider and you knwo someone in a the area that you want local stations that owns a satellite subscription as well you could ask them to rent a extra box and have them give it to you. Again this could be illegal but it works. I know a guy that when he travels to his relatives in Arizone from NY he brings his box so he doesn''t miss the Yankees.

PS: I dont think you would even need the subscription. You could probably do this with a dish on your roof and a borrowed box.
