How do I get as good at songwriting as T-Pain?

As you know, T-Pain writes all his own songs. How do I get as good as he is at songwriting? I just got a job in songwriting and I want to know how to get good at it. I want to get on T-Pain's level. Please tell me how I can get as good as he is at songwriting. I want to get to be as good as he is, but I need to get some help from all the people out there. Advice please? I don't want any stupid answers. Serious answers! I don't want any of those stupid answers that will upset me. I hope one day I get to meet T-Pain and ask him for some advice. In fact, one day, I hope to be married to T-Pain! Yea!

Work on it daily.  Increase your vocabulary so you can know more words to rhyme.  Most importantly I think you either have the skill at song writing or don't.  Work with good people in the industry.  There are more than just T-Pain.  Ask lots of other people.  Take criticism.  The worst are people in the industry who think they are the best and can't take advice from others.  Not every song you write is decent.  Many require tweeking and if you are convinced it's perfect as is, you'll never be successful at it.

And really....when you meet him, have intelligent questions to ask him.  Not just gushing I want to marry you.  It sounds like you are 12.  He can never take you serious as a song writer if you sound like a groupie.  Come up with some serious questions to ask the different celebrities you will meet.
