  1. Mobile yahoo or yahoo front page for Yahoo GO

    http://m.yahoo.com

    regular yahoo is

    http://www.yahoo.com

but if you are on Your Mobile you pretty much need the mobile site-- it doesn't take away anything..

I understand the mobile page that they have is designed to show you the "Yahoo GO" sites

I wish they would add yahoo answers to it!

  2. I, too, have a iPhone, and used the full page Yahoo! which can be fully explored on the iPhone.  I, too, found the mobile page annoying and lacking in features.  After trying for a few minutes, I gave up, now not able to use it.  It is like getting a text version of a page.  Ugh!  No matter what I tried, I got the mobile version - no photos, links news, etc.  I guess after 10+ years of using Yahoo! I will have to use another home page.

  3. I am experiencing the exact same problem on my iPOD touch.  Up until approximately January 4th, I was able to access the standard Yahoo! homepage.  Now, for no obvious reason, I get redirected to the lower quality mobile version every time I attempt to access www.yahoo.com.  My brother, who lives on the other side of the country, started to experience the same problem on his iPOD touch within the same time frame.  This is obviously a result of an action made by either Apple or Yahoo!.  Either way, this is outrageous given that a major selling point of these products is the ability to access the Real Internet rather than a dumbed-down version.  As a user of Yahoo for over 10 years, I will be very disappointed if they do not fix this problem soon!  Sorry that this does not answer your question; I think the major point to recognize is that this appears to be a recent and widespread issue.  Hopefully, if we make enough noise, either Apple and Yahoo! will fix this problem.

  4. I am having the same problem.  The whole point of iPhone is to access full featured, real, web sites, not dumbed down mobile versions.  This is part of Yahoo's grand plan to make Google look good!
