  1. yeah word i have the problem.

what im doing is im learning a lot more scales.

then im playing say in the key of G  ( G D C bm)

then i record that and i have it play over and over.

and i just play a with notes and from there i make a rhythm part and move on untill i find some more notes that sound nice and try and put it all together

  2. Scales, scales, scales. I'm with you man. I had to learn all 12 major scales and now I'm working on the minor ones, they get easier after a while. Then learn pentatonic scales and arpeggios. Chords come later if you can manage them.

  3. Hi El Rap

The best way to learn to improvise is to practice what you already know and try to follow records or CD's. You can also improvise your own stuff if you want over their stuff.

Here is a good link for scales. Learn the diminished scale and arpeggios which is what is most widely used today in heavy metal and fusion and neo-classic and rock.

Here , you will get all the scales , in any position you like. You need this to learn how to improvse. No scale knowledge= no sense of improvisation

  4. First of all you need to learn the Minor Pentatonic Scales. I have used this page http://www.learnguitar.web.surftown.se/s...

When you master all the positions of the Minor Pentatonic Scales learn some blues licks which I think is good to start practice on. Search on YouTube, for example "Blues Guitar Lesson Licks"
