We just spilt a whole bunch on the carpet and we tried steam cleaning but it only helped it a little and clogged the steam cleaner ):

Do you know how we could get it up? Please?

  1. Ice cubes, it is slow but works.

  2. Let it dry then pick it out. Use a vacuum to get the tiny pieces. You may want to use some carpet cleaner spray and let it sit for a bit, otherwise it'll change your carpet the color of the candle.

  3. with a blow dryer blow hot air on it and then wipe it off

  4. fine scissors. snip it off JUST AT THE TIP.. if its a thick carpet.

  5. You can buy this stuff called wax away that will remove wax from most things. You can usually find it wherever candle making supplies are bought, like at craft stores. I have used it and it works however the red die does stain and it won't take care of that. Folex is probably best for the carpet stain but you can also try zout gel (fabric stain remover), which easier to find. Either way you will have to scrub hard to get the stain out. It will be easier to just cut the stained carpet after removing the wax, if it won't be too obvious.

  6. Put a paper bag on the wax, then put a hot iron on it. It worked for me ;)

  7. Lay a piece of waxed paper on the wax (no pun intended..lol), then iron the paper w/hot iron. Whatever is left, try to snip off w/scissors.

    Hope this helps.

  8. you can get this stuff called "goof off" in the cleanser section of the store (it's not the same as goo gone, that will work, but goof off works better, it comes in a metal can) and it will take it off.  it will help, if not completely remove, the red color too.  i had a green dress made of that really shiny, eighties bridesmaid dress material (for choir) and i left a candle on it in my backseat, thought it was ruined, figured i couldn't do any more damage with the goof off, and it took it all out and it looked as good as new.  i was totally amazed.

  9. Use a hair drier to melt it again, then suck it out with a vacuum hose.

  10. use heat and ice, heat it to make it flow use an ice cube and then some spot shot. Works wonders

  11. a hair dryer to heat it up, then with a cloth, remove it :)

    good luck!

  12. paper towel and a hot iron

  13. try ironing a folded towel... slowly increase the heat until the wax starts to melt...then lay several paper towels under the towel and apply the iron...as the wax melts the papertowel will absorb it
