How do I get cat urine smell out of my pillows and Couch?

I have a friend that got her cat fixed after he started to spray. The cat got her Pillows for her couch and the cushions on the back of the couch. Anyone know how to get the smell out?

Alcohol works better than some of the commercial brand of neutralizers.   AND cheaper too!

You can use it on almost all surfaces.

spray on ... blott off spray on again..

Use What Odor?  Its amazing.  www.what-products.com and they pay for shipping!  Its a GREEN product and they plant a tree for every purchase.  I use it everywhere, but initially bought it for cat urine.  The product really works...

vinegar and water mixed in a spray bottle works well. then a machine wash.

nothing will remove odor, trash it, save yourself the hassle.

None of those options will work. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 20 years. The best thing I have found is a product called Urine OFF. It is amazing and I buy a couple of bottles for my house as well as my hospital (nothing wards off clients like the smell of cat urine). You can purchase it online or through local distributors.

A lot of scrubbing and a lot of Fabreeze. Use upholstery stain remover to scrub it, it has a nice clean, fresh smell to it. If she can get them replaced then i suggest she does. I am ripping up our stair carpet soon because my cat recently had a UTI and took up weeing on the carpet. There is only so much i can scrub. I figured that i will waste more money on cleaning products than a new carpet.
