  1. You can't.......but you could keep him inside.

  2. Put up a sign, "No cats allowed".

    Seriously, cats know no boundaries!

Keep your Royal Highness inside, I'd say.

  3. Keep him inside, but more importantly, have him "neutered". Unless you are a breeder your cats should be spayed/neutered for their health and your peace of mind. There will be a lot less fighting and wandering and he'll still be a wonderful loving pet.

  4. You can't and even if you try you will only make things worst for him. By trying to protect him you will only provoke more fight because the other cats wants to gain territority over your handsome guy and he probably knows he can, that's why he keeps trying. If you protect your cat by chasing him, he will only comeback and raise the violence of his intervention to try and assert his domination more rapidly. So let it be. The faster they settle that territorial dispute, the faster they will stop fighting.

But like everyone else here, I'm also telling you to keep him inside. Inside cat have a life expenctency of 10 to 15 years while outside cat only have 3 to 5 years. Inside cat cost 3 times less in Vet expenses.

Now, I know what you're thinking - "My handsome male NEEDS to go outside. He's unhappy if he don't go and keeps moewing in front of the door until I let him out". Now, please beleive me when I say that your cat will not be an unhappy one if you keep him inside. He will simply rearrange his territory inside your house. It will take about 14 days to do so. During the first 5 days he will want to go outside to protect his established territory. That is why he wants to go outside, not because he is unhappy if he don't go. He simply wants to defends what is his particularly now that there is another cat who wants it. So yes he will cry to go outside. IGNORE HIM TOTALLY. Don't even look at him when he does that. Cat are very intelligent. If they see that something don't work, they won't loose time trying out. So if you're cat sees that by moewing and crying he doesn't get want he wants (going outside) he will stop after a couple of days. Granted those 3 to 5 days will be h**l for you, particularly at night but Trust me, he will stop. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to never budge. If you let him out even once, he will know that by being insistant he will get want he wants and you will never be able to do it again.

After 14 days he will have rearrange his territory inside the house, will be less stressed because no one will challenge him on it and he will have forget about his old territory outside.

Provide him with place in height, near windows (cat trees) and play a bit more with him because he will need to compensate for the exercise he will loose. By playing with him you will forge a better relationship and you might end up with an even more handsome male cat, is such a thing is possible:).

He also need to be neuteured if he is not otherwise you will end up with urine problem. My guess is he's already neuteured otherwise you will have told us that he had spayed over the house because of the war he's waging outside with the other cat

    Good luck

  5. Keep your cat inside and you won't have this problem.

  6. The best solution would be to keep your handsome young man indoors at all times.  He will be much safer and healthier.  If he hasn't be neutered, make an appointment today!

    Good Luck!
