How do I get cherry pits to germinate?

  2. try chilling them first here's how:

    dry them for 24hours

    wet a paper towel and lay flat on a paper plate

    put the desired seeds onto towel and fold the towel over the seeds

    place plate with wet towel and seeds into a plastic bag and put in fridge for 1-2 days

    you should see sprouts (if the seeds are the right age, this may not work with seeds from grocery store cherries because they tend to be picked too early, but worth a try)  then plant in a container with Seed Starting Soil and keep moist.
