How do I get coloring off a desk???

Well last night my ice water cup was sweating or whatever and i put pink post it notes under it and it turned that part of the desk like red. Any suggestions on how to get it out.

What you can do is polish it.  First wet the desk then dry it.  Next put a tiny bit of polishing on it.  And let it dry for twenty minutes.  Then with a soft cloth wipe of the excess.

Magic Eraser!  It's this sponge thingy that you can find at Wal-mart or wherever.  I don't know why it works, but when you wet it, it can get all sorts of stuff off walls.  I had spent hours trying to get things off my wall, but when I tried the magic eraser, it came right off.

Now I keep one for emergencies, (with kids, we get pencils or crayon on the wall quite often.)
