  1. Kill the smell by soaking the clothes overnight in a solution such as ONE of the following:

One cup ammonia to one gallon warm water; or

One cup of white vinegar to one gallon warm water; or

One cup of baking soda to one gallon warm water

    Soak overnight.

  2. vinegar might work...i've heard that it is good in getting rid of smells on clothes.

  3. I would suggest that he leave his fishy clothes at work.  Bring a fresh set of clothes in a bag and wear them back and forth to work. Once a week he can wash his work clothes at the Laundromat.  In your house I would buy lemon scented dish soap and wash the cupboards and floors with this.   Buy a couple of fresh lemons, peel them and let the peels dry out throughout the house.  Use the lemon juice to boil with water on the stove then pour it in your washing machine the next time you do a load of laundry.  That is all I can think of to solve the problem.
