You'll be arriving at Gare du Nord. Take métro line 4 (in the direction of Porte d'Orléans) all the way to the station called Montparnasse-Bienvenue. Then you walk south for a few minutes.

A metro ticket costs 1.50 € but if you are staying a few days you should get them in bulk: a "carnet" of 10 tickets is 11.10 €.
