How do I get from Manchester centre to Rochdale on public transport? how much does it cost?

the train from Manchester Victoria Station to Leeds, stops off in Rochdale ... it's about 20 minute or so from manchester, and will cost about £5 for a return ticket.

i always take this route, rather than using the buses

take the rochdale via castelton train form manchester victoria

i think it costs around 2.60 for a return not sure about single

The number 17 bus runs from Manchester city centre to Rochdale. It runs every 10 mins, sometimes less. Buy a day rider ticket for about £4. You can then travel all day.
