How long does it take if I go across the water? What is the best method of transportation?

  4. Take the ferry boat from Gibraltar to Algrecias Spain... it takes about an hour.  You could also go to Cadiz.  Just go to the docks and look at all the signs for channel crossing boats... and TAKE ONE.  I don't see what the problem is here.

  5. Boat or plane. I'd take the boat as the sights are worth seeing while crossing the Straits of Gibraltar.
