I'm hoping there is a rail that connects the two. I really want to buy champagne from Champagne while I'm in France.

  2. In Paris, in Place de la Pyramide is a tour company. You can do a wonderful guided tour in Champagne region, visiting Reims and the main houses from where you can buy a true champagne.

You would have to take a smaller train or some other form of transportation from the closet of those cities to Champaign.

  4. Drive east toward Germany and you'll bump into the Champagne region.

  5. You can take a train from GARE de L'EST in Paris to Reims, the main city in Champagne region. In the city itself you have a good bus service, and you have some of the best champagne producers there. Otherwise, you can check at the train station in Reims how to go to other places in the region to get wine. Actually in Reims, some of the Champagne producers organize guided tours to show you how they produce the different types of champagne. A fun experience. Enjoy!
