How do I get from Shannon airport to Killarney? Traveling alone, leaving Sunday.?

I have to meet my husband in Killarney, my flight was delayed. How do I get there from Shannon airport? I need easiest and least expensive.

A taxi to Limerick city is about 30-50 euros depending.  You can take Bus Eireann to Killarney.  Limerick to Killarney is about 2hrs 15 min or so depending on traffic and length of stops.  I think the ticket is about 18-25 euro single way.  Nevertheless, this is only an approximation, as I have't taken this route since Ireland used the punt. In total, the taxi and bus would be 48 to 75 euros (expect to pay about 55 euro).  Hiring a car is costly: the rental insurance is high and the petrol (gasoline) is high.  Plus, the roads in that part of the country are not so great.
