  1. Flights are pretty expensive, mostly fly out of Boston, and usually require you to connect in some place like Newark, NJ.  Ferries only work if you are going in the summer, if you are you could take the "Cat" ferry from Portland to Yarmouth, NS and then take a bus or something and then maybe get on another ferry.  I don't think there are any trains that go more than half of the way, so that probably won't work.  However the simplest way would probably be to rent a car (if you don't own one) and just drive or (if it's not too expensive) fly.


  2. contact a travel agent.  He or She can get you to where you want to go. Have you tried yahoo maps or google maps for the areas you would like to see on the way?
