How do I get him to ask me out?!?

Ok, so long story short, I went to this go away camp with all the 6th graders in the dristict. This guy asked me out. I REALLLY, REALLY like him...and my friend told me not to go out with him, or she'd hate me. Yeah, this was a year ago, and lets just say they have a restraining order againt me now. But I still like him!! Like I said, he asked me out. Do you think he still likes me?!! I saw him today. We dont smile at each other. But, I'm going into 7th this year -and so is he. I REALLY like him. And this may sound weird..but I've never talked to him. But there's something about him that it seems like he's not immiture, he's nice, and fun. I DEFINETLY dont want to hit on him or anything. Or ask him out. How do I get him to?! ..again, lol. Should I sit near him or something in class? (If he's in my class) Should I get my friend to tell his friend I like him?!

Your like 11/12 thats really young to have problems like this! "and my friend told me not to go out with him, or she'd hate me" thats a little immature of her if she was your friend she wouldn't say that and she'd be happy for you.

Anyway I've got the same problem kind of... I want this guy I REALLY LIKE to ask me out (and I defiantly don't wanna ask him)...

I suggest you "suggest" going out... without actually asking him. Just say "Theres this cool movie out, we should go see it...," something like that would be brilliant. Before doing that, you may want to get to know him more...

And if he turns you down or says "don't think so" then forget about it.

You are only in 7th grade! You have plenty of time for this stuff. =]

Well, first I think you should get to know him better.  I wouldn't be so quick to go out with him if you don't even know him.  So just start out by talking to him and stuff, and if you really think he's right for you after you've gotten to know him, then I say go for it!  What your friend said was totally immature, and if she would really hate you for going out with him then she's probably not a good friend anyway.
