I am a creditor from a Bankruptcy case.

  1. When you are a creditor in a Bankruptcy Case, you should update your address with the Bankruptcy Court for which you are a part of. The reason is that the trustee is trying to locate you and often times, he can't because you moved or they had the wrong address. This is why funds end up in the court just sitting there. If the funds have been sitting there for a while, you could apply to the court to get them released or you could have firms like The Locator Services Group, Ltd. help you out.

    And for the stupid comments made by the other people, just remember the people that owe/owed you money. That makes you a creditor as well.
