I want to be a Psychiatrist. But I also want to go to Harvard. I am still in high school. I heard it was tough to get into Harvard. What all would I have to do besides studying real hard? Well else do they look for?

  1. get straight A's

  2. A very high GPA, A high aptitude (so do well on the MCAT), being involved in a few extra-curricular activities and drive.

You should talk to an academic advisor at Harvard; they will assist you.

SORRY, I originally posted criteria for high school---I MEANT those things for the time you are in college.

  3. Money, Study, English.

  4. For medical school, they look for outstanding performance in college, preferably a good college.  Harvard is the best medical school in the country and takes people from all over the world, so you have to do more than just be a good student - you have to be extraordinary.
