How do I get into moderating for a group that needs to be moderated? What if it doesn't have a poll on the men

** many many groups are in this same boat.

there is nothing you can do. if there is no active owner. Yahoo will not appoint an owner or moderator to an already created group. they stated this on Team Blog some months back and on the suggestion feed back site, many have voted for adopt a group- but yahoo has not come up with a plan.

only an owner can promote a member to moderator. if there is no owner, the idea of polling for a new one wont work. when other had tried this and then e-mailed yahoo with the results, you just confirmed there was no owner- and they just delete the group.

better option- create another group and invite the members to it
