Question:

How do I get into my bank account?

I have a bank account with a local bank that my mother's a cosigner on. She said I wouldn't be able to get into it until I get a job. Problem is, I got one and they need me to buy the outfit for it. My mother is the co-signer but I'm currently not talking to her. Does anyone know how I can get into it? I only know where the bank is and that I have one with them, nothing else. That and it's got $500 in it and I need 'bout 50 out of it. I have a driver's license and all. Do I need an account number? Where would I find that? Thanks.

  1. You don't actually need to know your account number. Simply go into the bank, go up to a teller and tell them you would like to withdraw from your checking (or savings) account. Let them know you don't know your account number. They'll probably ask for your ID.

When I was in high school I could never remember my account number. I'd just have to put my name on my deposit slip with my address and they'd figure it out for me.

Your bank will have all of your information.

You may even need to know your social security - So make sure you have that number just in case!

    Good luck.

  2. yes, of course you need to know your own bank account number.  what you can do is apologize to your mother.  tell her you're sorry for whatever you did.  she's your mother for pete's sake.  she carried you in her womb for 9 months before giving birth to you, raised you, nurtured you, fed you,  educated you.  least you can say is sorry mom!  trust me she'll forgive you.

  3. You probably don't have access to the account at all.  With your mom being listed as cosigner, she will probably have to be present to sign for the withdrawl.  You need to start speaking with your mom or borrow the money from someone else to buy the uniform.  Keep your reciept for your uniform because you should be able to claim it on your taxes since it is a work related charge.
