How do I get into my dream job?

Question

I'm 16 now (was 16 in april) and i REALLY want to become a journalist. I was talking to my mum and she said that most journalists who are successful now started off young, writing for their local paper, their school magazine etc...but I don't know what I could write for my local paper! I read The Guardian every week to get inspiration but it's all like obviously stuff that the journalist has been told to write about and that they've researched. I really would love to become a successful journalist but how do I start?

My name is Anthony Cronje and i am a born journalist( i dont have any formal qaulifications.) My answers to you would be to start writing what you feel and then writing what you see. Read as many news papers as possible and study some some writing styles. Good luck
