  1. Don't over clock your cpu. Your bios also might be password protected. If it is you will have to pull out the mainboard battery and leave it out for a day or so to reset the bios so you can get in.

  2. ok when u turn on ur pc during the loading you should hear a little beep or something from the tower(where the motherboard hard drive and all are) when you do you need to press a certain button on the keyboard.

now some manufacturers use different keys to bring you to the BIOS. i'm not sure which ones go with what keys but u should try them all Del, F1, F2 or F8. if you dont want to keep going threw each key you can pay attention to the screen and it might say to press a certain key to go into the BIOS.

now here's one thing that could be wrong if you've just built the pc from scratch...your pc will not pick up any usb mice or keyboards in some cases....this however is not much of a problem. all you have to do is find a keyboard with a ps2 connection and plug it in and then get to the BIOS and activate the usb thing that allows u to use usb connected keyboards and mice

also if you over-clock your processor the manufacturers warranty on that part will most likely not count anymore cause it wasnt really made to run at that speed or whatever

    hope this helps

  4. You know how to OC your processor but you can't figure out how to get into a BIOS? I think you need to call up tech support and let them know you have an ID-10-T problem.

  5. when your computer boots up it does a ram count and stuff (if you dont have vista) then it should say something about push del or f1 to enter bios setup, if you have vista then you have less hope because vista is so over protective idk if there is a way to change your bios settings

  6. Press the "setup" key at boot. Usually either Del, F1, F2 or F8. It says on the screen.

  7. Tip: if you don't know, get an expert to help.  You could seriously mess stuff up.  You probably have a coworker who would be happy to help, just ask around.    People love showing off (I mean sharing ;) their expertise.

  8. usualy if i want to get in the bios i will hit either the f1 key or f8 those are the basic ones what you can do is start up the computer there should be a message saying to get to bios hit blank what you can do is turn of the computer and when u start it up keep on hitting the button u should get to the bios
