How do I get into the CMOS to create a password?

I want to set a password for the WHOLE computer and i can't get into the CMOS. Everytime I restart the computer, I try pressing F1 or delete but nothing happens.. is there any other way I could get in?

a cmos password is just a password for you motherboard bios.its to lock the settings so no one can change it..its different from a windows logon password..check your manufacturer manual to get into your bios if you want to set a cmos password.not all comuters use delete or f1 to get into there.others are F10 etc...
