How do I get into the business of modeling?!

Question

I've always loved the idea of modeling and wanted to become one, but I don't know how to start, or where to go? I prefer nothing nude, but i love more of a punk girl style. I am 18 years old and i would LOVE to start, so can anyone help me out?

Sign up with a couple of the model/photographer networking sites like One Model Place and Model Mayhem

Then find some local photographers who specialize in the kind of modeling you want to do and do some TFP sessions ... the more face time you  can get with the most number of photographers, the sooner you will have a book to take with you to "open calls" by local modeling agencies.

You can search in Yahoo search about "I want to be a model" then you can go on on the best place that you think is. Good Luck!
