Question:

How do I get leaves out if I can't see them?

I have an above ground pool, for the past month I have poured over $300 worth of chemicals in it. The pool has remained cloudy and aqua in color. The pool people tell me the chemicals are balanced. I got in the pool Saturday, and realized there is leaves and dirt on the bottom. I vacuumed it out to waste (it looked like mud). I shocked it, and it is still cloudy. How can I get the remaining debris out if I can't see it? I have tried with the net and can't pick up anything, but the vacuum picked it up, but it started clogging my filter. Thanks for any help and advice you may have.

  1. You have to let it settle to the bottom again, then vacuum it up again.  A constantly running water filter is the only way to get mixed up particles out.
