  1. CLR works perfect! A little expensive but worth it!

  2. Sugar Candy, what is Borax is it an American version of bicarbonate of soda?

  3. Put some vinger on it and leave it for half an hour.

  4. vineger

  5. Try some kind of limescale remover, lots of stuff available out there

  6. CLR or Limeaway

  7. Step1

Mix equal parts of white vinegar and borax to form a paste. Mix as much as necessary for a single use as it can harden when stored.

    Step2

Remove the k***s from the faucets. Place them in a container filled with equal parts vinegar and boiling water. Allow them to soak overnight then rinse thoroughly.

    Step3

Apply the vinegar/borax mixture to the faucets and allow it to sit for several hours. Wear gloves to apply the mixture and press it in firmly. Use cotton tip applicators for hard-to-reach areas.

    Step4

Scrub the faucets vigorously with a scouring pad until all the limescale is removed. Repeat Step 3 if limescale is still present.

    Step5

Rinse the faucets thoroughly. Use boiling water to dissolve the mixture completely and prevent smearing. Dry with a lint free cloth.

    Step6

Prevent limescale from recurring by using a water softener and drying your faucets after every use. Limescale is caused by hard water drying on the faucets. It requires less time to prevent limescale build up then it does to remove it.

    _______________

Always wear gloves when handling the vinegar/borax mixture. It is irritating to the skin and can cause dryness.
