How do I get mail when I am going to be gone for 4 months?

I am going to move out of my rental home in Ca. and go stay with my Daughters in Mn.I will be gone for about 4 months.Any Idea's

  1. Public computers... Public libraries have internet access... Internet Cafes.... if you meet somebody that you become friends with you could always ask to borrow there computer evry once in a while...


  2. Just go to the Post Office, and fill out a "forward mail" form. They will forward all of your mail to your daughter's house from the day you leave until the day you return. Kind of like a "vacation hold" except you will actually get your mail at the location you are at.

  3. yeah ask ur neighbours. that is if u have any trustworthy ones!!

  4. Yes, you can get your mail forwarded through the US Post Office to your daughter's home. Then when you return -- cancel it. It works. I had to do this when I was away at college years ago.

  5. Ask a neighbor to get it for you and then mail it to you in a package but you should supply them with a money reward to do so.Or ask the post office for a postal box and ask for your mail to be sent their until you come back and come get iy.
