How do I get modeling clay to dry?

I made a pot sorta thing with roseart modeling clay yesterday and it still hasnt hardened.....

How do i get it to harden??

Is it sopposed to harden??

  1. Some clays are made to stay workable/ don't dry.


  2. Yes it is suppose to harden...lol try putting it in the oven...

  3. Roseart modeling clay will never harden, and since it is not polymer clay, do not put it in your oven!! If you do, it will just melt all over the place. That would be quite a mess to clean up.

    Buy some polymer clay and you can bake it for about 20 minutes at 275°.

    But please, do not put your oil-based modeling clay in the oven.

  4. Some clays are ment to stay moist and workable. However some clays need to be heated via oven or kiln.

  5. give it time and maybe a fan will help

  6. some clay will ever dry but the ones that will you can leave it out for a long time, a day or two, or you can put it in the oven. my brother made something and my dad put it in. it was hard but brunt. so you'll have to check it every so often.
