How do I get more readers for my blog?

It contains stories and poems on which I need views.

Pass out flyers at schools and colleges where people congreggate to read or critic poems or writtings.

Ask people that own web sites to put a link for your site or blog.  The more links your web site has the more search engine companies like Yahoo and Goggle consider you site "popular" and therefore they'll send you more people your way.

Your blog can become more popular year after year by simply promoting it as much as you can, talk about it to friends, ask them to talk about it, ask people to add a link to your blog on their website or blog, join "blog clubs" etc. :)
