How do I get music from iTunes from my desktop to my laptop?

  1. If you have iTunes software downloaded to your laptop and you have authorized your laptop as one of the 5 machines on which you can play your iTunes selections, then you should have no trouble transferring the files.

    I would do this with a USB flash drive or portable hard drive. Just copy the files to the external device and then download from the device to your laptop through one of your USB ports.
