  1. She's two, stop calling her names and teach her to love herself for who she is.

  2. Oh, please don't call your daughter names! She is only 2! Maybe asking her what she is scared of. After you know, maybe you can work on fixing it.

  3. well she is only two give her sometime. that's the best thing to do. i mean really how long did we stay afraid of the dark? until we were ready.

  4. Sometimes babies are just scared easily.  Just make sure you make her know that its ok.  And hold her when she is scared.  My daughter is the same way.  She scares easily, but you just have to work with them with it.  And explain things to them, even if you think they dont understand.  My daughter will be two in nov, and i do this with her.

You just have to comfort them, you can't just expect them to not be scared.

  5. At that age when she is not verbal, just do not push

things that frighten her (even dora) change the channel!

When i was little i was afraid of the furnace..i thought it was

    a giant robot !

Again, plenty of time to grow up!

  6. LOL, some young ones are just more timid than others.

My first daughter, is "mrs. safety turtle", and my second "evil caneval" . . . one is so very cautious and the other is an absolute thrill seeker.  Her timidness may annoy you, as it did me a little when she was younger, but when I had my second, I realized the opposite is MUCH more challenging, I am always having to worry about her getting hurt where my little safety turtle never even gets a bruise.  Appreciate your daughter for the way she is, she'll approach new things as she's ready.
