A really good straightener would be the first step. I don't know about Miley, but you gotta understand that lots of stars have extensions, so that long, luscious, straight hair often is fake...even though it looks real.

Straighten your hair. Do it with some gel, i don't know what it is but gel, you can use the other type of gel and use a little bit and put it on your hairs that are sticking out so it can look straight with the other ones. Also you should do it everyday.

use a hair straightener, cheap drugstore ones usually won't work though. Try using a chi. Also if you hairspray your hair before you iron it will make it straighter though it damages your hair more.

You can buy a straightener. Buy some flat iron stuff you put on so it doesn't damage your hair and get some defrizz for after.

Anyways, Step-by-Step to get your hair straight!

.Invest in a professional straightening iron. I highly recommend the Sedu, it works very well.

.Straighten your hair by sections. Put half of your hair up and straighten the bottom part. Put the bottom part in a low ponytail after you're done and put the upper part down and straighten it. After, pull off the ponytail and straighten the whole hair quickly.

Tip: Don't forget to comb your hair to detangle it before you straighten it. Also, use a heat protecting spray such as TreSemme to keep your hair from breaking.

Maxiglide by Maxius Hair Straightener (I saw this one on a paid programming show, its supposed to be the best. Lowers the 3 hours of straightening to 30 minutes, i watched them do it! lol)

get a really good straightner (chi)  and straighten it in sections. should take up to 30 mins. then spray it down with a relaxed hairspray.

use a straigtening iron... pin up part of your hair, straighten the bottom layer left loose, let down another layer, straighten it, and so on.  straighten it in different layers to make your hair really straight.

if you have really curly hair its gonna be really hard and take lots of time

but get a good hair straightener...
