How do I get my Limewire to connect?

I'm having trouble with my Limewire. It will not "connect to the network." Now, I have disconnected it completely because it just wasn't working, and have pressed the button to connect it again. It's still not working. I'm not sure what else to do. My internet is working (albeit, with a weak wireless signal) and my Firewall allows Limewire.

Any tips?

If you haven't already, I would suggest restarting your computer (my quick-fix for a lot of small problems, as sometimes things in your computer just hit a snag). Your weak internet connection could possibly be a problem. If all else fails, uninstall, then reinstall Limewire. IF NONE OF THAT WORKS...idk what the problem is. My friend had a similar problem...was never able to use Limewire again. If this is the case, I would suggest downloading a similar program like Frostwire and others. Of course, we all know what the best option here is: stop illegally downloading music!!. lol =P Hope this helps, and good luck.

Do a reinstall.

Completely remove limewire(be sure you move anything you have in the saved folder)

Reinstall the program and see if that does the trick.
