How do I get my Microsoft Word to work?

When I get on my Microsoft Word 07, it won't let me type anything. I need to finish an assignment before school starts and it won't let me type. My assignment is half-way done, but for some reason it keeps saying that it won't let me do anything because the system is locked. I don't know what to do or how to unlock it. Please help me!!!!!

"someone" locked your document when you left your computer. and you cant unlock it without knowing the password.

you cant do anything without the password, and if you dont know it or cant find out who locked it, download "open office", search for it in google, its like microsoft word but its free

this may sound too simple but try restarting the computer

You have a trial version and its now expired. you need to buy the licence, or use http://www.openoffice.org
