Question:

How do I get my Permanent Residence Card in Canada?

I've been trying to apply for my PR Card (live in Canada as landed immigrant for 20yrs, but born in Panama), and i've done all the requirements the've asked when applying. But now the "PR Card lady" is giving me the run around. First, she said she needed the panama passport # (which was there....she's blind). And a week later, she tells me she needs a copy/fax of the Canadian Stamp on the passport. I don't see it on the passport. What can i do at this point? And what are my options?????

Thanks so much.....

  1. I feel your pain, I got my PR card application returned also because they said my face was 0.5mm to big in the photo.  I tried to measure it and couldn't even see it.  But you have to do what they ask so get a copy of every page of your passport, notarized copy would be even better and mail it to them.  Would there not be a Canada stamp in your passport from the last time you arrived in Canada?
